Human Computer Protocols

HumanComputerProtocolsThis paper introduces a more concrete model for how to work with the “IT element” that has come to play an increasingly critical role in human interaction.

Based on existing theories I attempt to introduce a model where active influence of the medium becomes part of our sense of reality and therefore shapes us as much as it shapes our interaction.

EDIT: Since I wrote this many books has been written in support of this point of view and with more relevant data, so for a more modern (and less highfalutin theoretical) version, I’d recommend Clay Shirkys excellent books on the same topic from 2009 and 2010.
